No. Active professional activity performed remotely for foreign clients or employers has a separate remote-work residence-visa route. D7 is for retirees, recognised religious applicants and people living from their own income.
What is the minimum income in 2026?
The reference is €920 per month for the first adult, €460 for each additional adult and €276 for each child or dependent child. The file must also prove regularity and 12-month availability.
Do I need a Portuguese NIF and bank account before applying?
